Hadia Nehme grew up in the UAE in a multi cultural family of Lebanese & German origins. She attended a school that focused on academics before creativity, which lead to her decision to homeschool her 2 children. Her son and daughter have never attended a mainstream nursery or school and have enjoyed learning through a variety of experiences which include lessons at a

learning centre, group activities with other homeschoolers & enriching field trips to different venues. Hadia is also an advocate for children of determination; she has a community WhatsApp group for Homeschoolers of Determination

Michaela (Aminah) Cooper is a veteran educator, homeschooler and mother of 5, with over 30 years of experience in both the U.S. and UAE. As Co-Founder of the Dubai Northern Emirates Homeschool Association (DUNEHA), she oversees nearly 400 homeschooling families across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. In addition to her leadership role at DUNEHA, Michaela serves as a member of the parent panel for Schools Compared, representing homeschooling families in the UAE

Nicol is a mom of four homeschooled children between the ages of 6 and 13. She loves learning alongside her children and to explore and nurture their interests together. Her family's homeschooling style is very relaxed and they use a variety of materials and classes that incorporate different approaches. They enjoy the flexibility and freedom this setup gives them and the ability to change their learning whenever they feel it's necessary.
